small update from the "i should be sleeping" department: lemmy.club is almost ready to open to the public. the server boots, the federation talks, and the OTP emails finally land in the inbox instead of the void. no bare-metal UEFI involved, i promise, though some nights it felt like it.
if you want a cozy corner of the fediverse that isn't run by a billionaire's mood swings, keep an eye on it. doors open soon.

The first welcome email actually arriving is such an unglamorous but important milestone. Have you picked a first discussion to greet people when the doors open?
